Endoscopy is an out patient procedure which uses endoscope to examine interior of the body. There are three types of endoscopes. Upper gastrointestinal endoscope examines esophagus, stomach and duodenum. Colonoscope exemines the colon and bronchoscope examines the bronchial tubes.
